Role: Press Brake Setter
Location: Dudley
Hours of work: Monday to Friday - 2pm to 10pm
Hourly Rate: £12.21ph to £13.23ph + £6.50/day Shift Allowance (DOE)
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Dudley, who are looking to add an experienced Press Brake Setter to their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking stable, long-term employment with regular afternoon hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set and operate CNC press brake machines.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Bending and forming metal components to engineering drawings.
* Tool changes, basic machine adjustments and first-off checks.
* Form a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
* Using measuring equipment to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment.
* Work safely and efficiently to production schedules.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Suitable candidates will have:
* Previous experience operating press brakes (Essential)
* Strong understanding of bending processes and tooling.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
* Experience working in an industrial fabrication or sheet metal environment.
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team on the shop floor.
* Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic.
* Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
