The role will work closely with the IT Operations Manager and the wider IT team, playing a key part in developing and enhancing the maturity and effectiveness of operational cyber security capabilities and practices. This position operates within a specialist team, collaborating across multiple departments to ensure that appropriate security measures are implemented effectively and efficiently. It will also contribute to shaping and applying best practices in security architecture, governance, risk management, and compliance, while supporting IT teams to integrate security into all areas of their work. About You Strong experience in a Cyber Security Management role within a large organisation Experienced in key areas of cyber security, including governance, risk, compliance, and incident response. Strong technical knowledge and practical expertise in cyber security operations. Familiar with UK and international security standards such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials. Skilled communicator with strong analytical, stakeholder, and time management abilities. What You'll Do as the Cyber Security Manager Oversee and enhance the organisation's cyber security operations, strategy, and risk management. Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, processes, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Lead incident response, vulnerability management, audits, and third-party security assessments. Promote cyber security awareness, deliver staff training, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
