Salary: £48,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a skilled SIEM Application Engineer with expertise in Elasticsearch. You will need to have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining security information and event management (SIEM) systems. A strong understanding of threat detection and incident response is essential. Additionally, you should be prepared to work 3 days on-site in Birmingham and be local to the area. Responsibilities: In this role, you will: Collaborate with security analysts and architects to design and implement SIEM solutions using Elasticsearch. Optimize SIEM rules, alerts, and dashboards for efficient threat detection. Work closely with others to drive key security objectives forward. Create presentations and write documentation for both technical and business audiences. Write efficient Elasticsearch queries to retrieve relevant security events and monitor the performance of the SIEM infrastructure. Contribute to various security engineering projects, transitions, and transformations. Engage with security operations and related incident response systems.
