What the Job Involves The role is centered on supporting children, young people, and their families who have a Child in Need Plan or are on the brink of local authority care. Your responsibilities include conducting direct work with families, providing parenting support, and collaborating with social workers and other agencies. The position requires flexibility, involving work outside normal office hours, and promoting the safety and development of children within their families through targeted assessment, planning, and intervention.
