We are seeking an enthusiastic Caretaker to join our team on a part-time permanent contract. The post is based at the main Council offices in Kings Hill and the working hours will be 24 hours a week, generally between the hours of 2.30pm to 7.30pm Monday to Thursday and 3.00pm to 7.00pm Friday, as well as covering, on average, one evening Council meeting per week which will be paid at enhanced overtime rate. Your main duties will include assisting the Office Superintendent to ensure a high standard of maintenance, cleanliness, and security at the offices at Kings Hill and responding swiftly to customer requests for assistance. You will also provide support to the Print and Post Manager by assisting with deliveries of post, sorting and scanning incoming post and providing general assistance including taking deliveries of paper and envelopes. You will be proactive, always willing to assist others and flexible in your approach to work. You will need to be a strong team member undertaking a range of tasks from cleaning duties to attending at civic functions.
