They are currently seeking a proactive and detail oriented Procurement Officer to join their team. In this role, you will take full ownership of the end to end procurement and logistics process, managing all orders from initiation to delivery. You will work closely with trusted suppliers and partners, building strong relationships to secure competitive pricing, maintain product quality and ensure seamless project delivery. Key Responsibilities Procurement Officer: Take full ownership of the end to end procurement process, from sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts to managing order fulfilment and final delivery. Maintain accurate and up to date pricing for quotes, orders and deliveries, ensuring project budgets are met and profit margins are protected. Proactively identify cost saving opportunities and efficiencies across procurement activities to improve overall business performance and profitability. Monitor and track all orders throughout the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of the right products in line with project requirements. Manage faulty or defective goods, coordinating returns, replacements and corrective actions efficiently to minimise disruption. Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including logistics planning, customs documentation and timely delivery. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure strict compliance with procurement policies, procedures and relevant regulations. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the most competitive pricing, superior service and consistent product quality, balancing cost and value for the business. Build and maintain strong, long term supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and trust to support smooth operations and future growth. Provide regular updates to internal teams on lead times, potential supply chain risks and any delays that could impact project delivery. Ensure all deliveries meet project specifications and deadlines, proactively addressing any issues that may affect quality or timeliness. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or purchasing administration looking for a step up in responsibility. Highly self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and make decisions. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail. Proficient in IT systems and software relevant to procurement processes. Clear and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing. Strong problem solving skills, able to resolve issues promptly. Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
