We’re looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer to join our rapidly growing team.
You’ll work on exciting, high‑impact programmes, using modern engineering and architectural principles to design and build innovative solutions for a wide range of clients. Working within mature, cross‑functional teams, you’ll help drive digital transformation and shape the future of services across the UK.
What you’ll do
* Design, develop and maintain high‑quality Java applications
* Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
* Build and secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot / Spring MVC
* Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders
* Support live services and resolve complex production issues
* Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences
What we’re looking for
* Strong experience with Java (Kotlin/Scala a bonus)
* Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
* A passion for innovation and delivering high‑quality solutions
Nice to have
* Kafka, SQS, Serverless (Lambda)
* Monitoring & logging tools (ELK, Dynatrace, Splunk)
* JPA/Hibernate, Swagger/OpenAPI, automated testing
* Mentoring experience
