Client: Our client is a leading offsite construction and modular building specialist. They have a fantastic opportunity for a Design Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Responsibilities: To manage all aspects of design from inception to completion for a national Design and Build Contractor. Work closely with the Manufacturing Work to a high quality and within budget Ensure all designs are developed in line with DfMA principals. Review design information in accordance with Building Regulations, Employers' Requirements, independent quality assurance, CDM, BSA and all statutory bodies. Create and manage design programmes, consultant scope documents, Design responsibility matrix, derogation schedules, risk register, progress trackers and design reports to the successful completion of the project. The Ideal Person: Possess a 3rd level qualification Strong technical skills and knowledge with a high attention to details Knowledge of BIM, BREEAM and use of Procore CDE and Construction Management software would be beneficial Demonstrate sound project management skills Candidates must have a detailed working knowledge of all current Building Regulations and the new Building Safety Act, its implications across all projects and the principal designer role.
