About the Role
As Assistant Head Teacher, you will play a key role in driving whole-school improvement, leading on teaching and learning, staff development, and the delivery of high-quality outcomes for all pupils. Working closely with the Head Teacher and wider SLT, you will support the school’s mission to deliver an inclusive, ambitious education that enables every child to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and inspire colleagues to secure the highest standards of teaching, learning, and achievement.
2. Contribute strategically to school improvement planning and curriculum development.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting wellbeing and high aspirations.
4. Monitor, evaluate and support staff performance, with a focus on professional growth.
5. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, governors, and external partners.
About You
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant leadership experience.
7. A proven record of improving outcomes across key stages.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
9. A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusive education.
