Receptionist (Weekend Role)
Hours: 16 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Looking for a rewarding weekend role where you can make a genuine difference? Join us as a Receptionist at Anchor and play a key part in creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for our residents.

In this front facing role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and colleagues, providing a professional, friendly, and efficient reception service that helps support happy, independent living for older people.

What you will be doing:

1. Welcoming visitors with a warm and professional approach
2. Acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries
3. Supporting residents, families, and colleagues with day to day queries
4. Providing general administrative support as needed

What we are looking for:

5. A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
6. Strong communication and customer service skills
7. Basic IT skills and good organisational ability
8. Experience in a reception or customer facing role is desirable
9. Customer Service NVQ Level 2 is desirable

You’ll be based at Glenvale Park Care Home, a modern residential care home set in landscaped gardens in the market town of Wellingborough.

The home is well connected, with easy access to the A45 and A509, making travel from surrounding areas straightforward. Wellingborough train station is also nearby, offering direct services to London and other major towns, along with regular local bus routes for convenient commuting.

Glenvale Park is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is rated “Good” overall, with strong ratings across all key areas including safety, care, and leadership.

The home also benefits from a positive reputation on carehome.co.uk (9.8/10), reflecting excellent feedback from residents and their families.
