Bid Writer – Civil Engineering Contractor
I’m currently recruiting for an exciting Bid Writer opportunity with a growing civil engineering contractor to work out of their new office in the North West, near Runcorn.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the creative side of bid writing and wants to be part of a business where they can genuinely influence how submissions are produced, presented and developed moving forward.
They’re looking for someone who can do far more than simply complete tender responses. They want a strong writer and creative thinker who can transform technical information into engaging, persuasive content that helps the business stand out in a competitive market.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, operational teams and subject matter experts to produce high-quality bids, framework submissions and supporting content across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
The Role
* Writing compelling and professionally structured bid responses
* Developing creative and engaging submission content
* Supporting tender strategy and win themes
* Working collaboratively with operational and commercial teams
* Improving the overall quality, consistency and presentation of submissions
* Assisting with case studies, presentations and wider marketing content
* Helping shape the future direction of the bid function within the business
What they’re after…
* Previous experience in bid writing, proposals or marketing content
* Ideally experience within construction, infrastructure or civil engineering
* Excellent written communication and attention to detail
* Strong creative and storytelling skills
* A proactive and ambitious approach
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
