The Team
You’ll be part of easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance team – a group recognised by Airbus for delivering Europe’s highest technical dispatch reliability. The team plays a critical role in keeping our aircraft operating safely efficiently and reliably across our growing European network. The Role
As a Part 145 Compliance Monitoring Engineer you’ll be right at the heart of safety and regulatory assurance. This role is essential to ensuring our maintenance operation meets regulatory requirements company procedures and easyJet’s industry-leading safety standards
You’ll support the delivery of the Part 145 audit programme carry out planned and unannounced audits across approved maintenance locations and provide expert regulatory advice to the maintenance organisation. You’ll investigate findings perform root cause analysis and work closely with stakeholders to drive corrective and preventative actions that strengthen our operation
You’ll also play a key role in supporting our Safety Management System reviewing accident and incident data monitoring trends and helping to embed a strong proactive safety culture across the business
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is detail-focused proactive and passionate about safety and continuous improvement
You’ll bring
>Strong working knowledge of Part 145 regulations and their practical application
>Formal aviation engineering training and previous experience within aircraft maintenance
>Experience of compliance auditing in an aviation environment or recognised auditor training
>Training in Human Factors Fuel Tank Safety and EWIS
>Confidence investigating incidents analysing data and identifying root causes
>Knowledge of Safety Management Systems Just Culture and engineering authorisation processes
>A flexible collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge and improve how things are done
>Solid IT skills including Microsoft Office with AMOS knowledge desirable
> Holding a Part-66 licence Airbus A320 family experience or previous auditor experience would be a strong advantage

Practicalities
This full-time role will be based in Gatwick Airport and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60 percent of our time per month in the office. Network travel is required for this position, UK & Europe.
