As a Customer Operations Advisor, you will be the voice of Thomas Cook, handling inquiries via phone, live chat, social media, and email. You will work in a fast-paced contact centre environment, passionate about travel, aiming to become an expert in your field. Your role involves building positive customer relationships, meeting sales goals, and representing Thomas Cook.
Key Accountabilities
Customer Service Excellence
* Deliver world-class service, ensuring first-time resolution across all contact methods.
* Manage customer interactions throughout their journey—from holiday searches to post-travel follow-up.
* Build long-lasting relationships to enhance satisfaction and sales.
* Support and step in for Customer Service Agents to support sales conversions and handle issues.
Sales and Lead Generation
* Drive sales via inbound and outbound calls.
* Lead outbound calls to generate new sales opportunities.
* Foster relationships with partners and suppliers to support sales efforts.
Problem Solving and Expertise
* Understand our processes to confidently resolve issues and advise customers.
* Continuously learn and share expertise to craft exceptional holiday experiences.
* Proactively suggest process improvements for better customer experiences.
Adaptability and Multi-tasking
* Ability to multi-task and excel in a dynamic environment.
Skills, Know-how, and Experience
* Minimum 6 months experience in a travel sales role.
* Positive attitude and passion for learning.
* Experience in a target-driven sales and service environment.
* Strong IT skills and multitasking ability.
* Enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to prioritize.
