Early Years Practitioner – Level 3 (Room Lead / Senior Practitioner Opportunity)

An opportunity for experienced Level 3 practitioners
We are seeking skilled and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our exceptional Little Prep team at Weston Green School.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident in their practice and ready to take on responsibility within a room, while being supported by a strong leadership structure and a collaborative team.
We are open to flexible working arrangements, including part-time hours and compressed working patterns.

About our setting
Weston Green School is a thriving, independent preparatory school in Thames Ditton, Surrey.
Our Little Prep department includes:
5. Ruby Class (2–3 years)
6. Jade Class (3–4 years)
7. Pearl Class (3–4 years)

The role
As a Level 3 practitioner, you will:
8. Take a key role within a room, supporting high-quality teaching and care
9. Contribute to planning, assessment and curriculum delivery
10. Support and guide less experienced staff where appropriate
11. Build strong relationships with children and families
12. Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care and learning
13. Contribute to the wider life of the school
There is scope within this role for room leadership responsibilities for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who:
26. Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
27. Has strong experience in an Early Years setting
28. Demonstrates confident, high-quality practice
29. Has a secure understanding of the EYFS framework
30. Is reflective, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
31. Works well as part of a team and can support others
32. Brings energy, warmth and professionalism to the role
