Day Case Worker (Young People & Asylum Seekers) Location: Oxford Salary: £18.00 Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 9.00-17.00 Contract Type: Ongoing temporary booking Start Date: ASAP Completely Care Ltd is recruiting for an organised, and proactive Day Case Worker to with a customer in Oxford supporting local young people and asylum seekers. This is a hands-on, varied role that makes a direct and meaningful impact every day. Duties: Key Working Support: Provide one-to-one and group sessions with young people and asylum seekers, supporting personal development and well-being. Appointments Support: Accompany and support clients in attending medical, legal, and welfare appointments using public transport. AQA Unit Delivery: Facilitate and complete AQA-accredited activities, helping clients gain valuable skills and recognition. Building Management: Ensure the service is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained; assist with general cleaning and upkeep. Collaborative Working: Work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure joined-up support for service users. Your experience: Experience working with vulnerable young people, refugees, or asylum seekers (paid or voluntary). Confident using public transport with clients and managing time-sensitive appointments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate. Proactive, flexible, and calm under pressure. Able to manage basic cleaning and maintenance tasks. Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality best practices. Language skills or lived experience related to asylum processes are a plus.
