Branch Supervisor
We are looking to recruit a 40-hour Branch Supervisor who has a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispensing to work at our 504 branch located within Yarm Medical Centre, 1 Worsall Road, Yarm, TS15 9DD.
The proposed shift pattern is to work 5 days a week Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (includes a 1‑hour unpaid lunch break).
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the general running of the pharmacy by supporting the Pharmacist and the rest of the team.
* Involved in both counter and dispensing activities.
* Support the pharmacy in promoting a wide range of pharmacy services including vaccinations and pharmacy first services.
* Provide blood pressure checks for eligible patients and receive training to become a vaccinator if required.
* Ensure high standards of customer care, demonstrating excellent customer service and people skills.
* Coach and mentor team members to provide friendly advice and share product knowledge.
* Maintain utmost attention to detail and work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced community pharmacy environment.
Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing (mandatory).
* Level 3 Dispensing Technician qualification and live GPhC registration (desirable).
* Proven experience working within a busy pharmacy.
* Experience in a supervisory role with strong leadership qualities.
* Confidence in building customer relationships and establishing their needs.
