At Turning Point, we are proud leaders in helping individuals recover from addiction and reclaim their lives. By providing timely and effective support, we have become one of the largest providers of substance use services in England and Wales. We are currently seeking a talented Practitioner Psychologist or Psychotherapist to join our newly formed team in Grimsby, ensuring the effective management, development, and delivery of psycho-social interventions.


About North East Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership (NELRP)

NELRP is a free and confidential service dedicated to supporting adults and young people in North East Lincolnshire with their drug and alcohol use. Our collaborative approach ensures that those we support can navigate the system with ease, without having to do it alone.


Main Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will:

* Provide clinical guidance, training, and leadership to a team delivering psycho-social interventions to individuals and groups.
* Utilize your expertise to innovate approaches for individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges.
* Oversee the systematic governance of services and offer practical advice on trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions.
* Inspire and develop your team while managing a small caseload of service users with complex needs, providing specialist psychological assessments and therapies.
* Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the service, building strong professional links with other providers.
* Continuously seek ways to improve services and integrate broader issues like housing, employment, and finances into treatment.
* Collaborate with our national team of Clinical, Counselling, Forensic Psychologists, and Psychotherapists to enhance psychological approaches across services.


The Ideal Candidate

You will:

* Hold a doctorate and have current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist, or be registered with UKCP, BPC, or BACP as a Psychotherapist.
* Bring experience in leading and supervising clinical staff, ideally with a background in substance misuse services.
* Possess excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a strong commitment to the Recovery Agenda.
