About us
Loch Lomond Golf Club is one of the world's finest private members golf clubs. It sits on the "bonnie bonnie banks" of Loch Lomond, amidst breathtaking scenery but within easy reach of Glasgow and Stirling. Our 7095-yard parkland course was designed in 1994 by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morris and is a truly special place to develop your career - offering wonderful opportunities to learn and grow within a professional team.
Sitting at the heart of our estate is Rossdhu House, a Georgian mansion now home to the clubhouse, where breakfast lunch and dinner is served in our Spikes Bar or halfway house, or more formal dining in private spaces or at special events. The Club also boasts accommodation, with 53 individually designed suites spread across the clubhouse, and surrounding lodges and cottages. As well as world class golf, our Members and guests can also enjoy traditional outdoor pursuits, from boating on the loch, pheasant shooting and stalking as well as river and loch fishing and hill walking. Or for indoor relaxation our five-star spa set within a beautiful walled garden offers an extensive holistic treatment menu, thermal pools and a gym.
Some work here permanently to develop a career in golf and hospitality, some work only seasonally across the busy summer months, while others work part time and flexibly around personal commitments or studies. However long you plan to stay with us and whatever hours you'd prefer to work, we're open to discussing shift patterns and contract types to suit your needs.

Scope of the Role
We have an incredible team of 200 permanent employees across 15 departments all year round, and seasonal support of 60 additional employees between April and October. With the direction of the Head of Human Resources and the assistance of our HR Advisor, you'll bring our people strategy to life, enhancing the employee journey in our unique hospitality setting.
We're looking for someone who thrives on variety — this role is hands-on, involving every aspect of the function - so we need a people-loving professional who's equally confident crafting a creative recruitment campaign, coaching managers, or delivering engaging training in a luxury golf environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Find and develop amazing people – Lead talent acquisition, dreaming up creative campaigns, running interviews, delivering warm and memorable inductions, and planning for the future with succession strategies.
* Shine a light on our Club – Be our culture ambassador at recruitment events and careers fairs. Build relationships with schools, colleges, and universities, and help deliver fantastic placements, management development programmes and apprenticeships.
* Inspire growth – Spot development opportunities through feedback and performance reviews and help shape LD plans that empower every team member to thrive.
* Bring learning to life – Deliver engaging energising workshops from service excellence to people processes and compliance essentials.
* Champion our culture – Foster a healthy, safe, inclusive, and wellbeing-focused workplace where everyone feels they belong.
* Keep things running smoothly – Act as custodian of our Employee Handbook and People policies, manage time and attendance, our annualised hours contracts (the operation closes for Christmas and most of January), payroll and bonus and incentives and recognition programmes, so our team are rewarded accurately and on time.
* Coach with confidence –Guide managers through the trickier parts of people management such as performance, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution with empathy, fairness, and professionalism.
* Be our HR data guru – Own our compliance documentation and HR systems, measuring and monitoring people metrics, and providing the management team with insights that help us make decisions.
What You'll Bring:
* A degree in Human Resources or CIPD Minimum Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience as a senior HR professional, ideally within hospitality and with experience of managing others.
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and health safety legislation.
* Experience delivering impactful training (a LD qualification would be a distinct advantage).
* IT proficiency and experience using HR systems (We use Recruitgenie ATS, Sage Payroll, Logit Task Management, and Tayl LMS).
* Above all you'll be an empathetic person with a passion for people, show great team spirit, and exceptional communication and coaching skills.
* However - if you're excited about this role but don't meet every single requirement above, we'd still love to hear from you....

We aim to provide meaningful employment, a warm and welcoming culture, excellent working conditions and all the assistance and adjustments we can.
