Operating out of Cambridge Airport, and working for the MRO Training Manager, the successful candidate will be required to maintain ‘Type’ currency on our C-130 fleets, including C-130J and C-130H, delivering approved B1 Type Training and supporting our extensive range of MRO training requirements. These include Regulatory and Continuation Training, Fitter to Tech Training, C-130 Gen Fam Training, and emerging training requirements within the business.

Purpose of the position
Based at Cambridge Airport and reporting to the MRO Training Manager, the successful candidate will maintain ‘Type’ currency on our C-130 fleets, including C-130J and C-130H, delivering approved B1 Type Training and supporting various MRO training requirements such as Regulatory and Continuation Training, Fitter to Tech Training, C-130 Gen Fam Training, and emerging needs.
You will work a standard 5-day week with flexibility for hybrid work when designing, developing, and assuring current and future training requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver approved and unapproved B1 Type Training for the C-130, along with other MRO training. You will assess current learning outcomes and develop innovative, engaging, and stimulating training programs to create world-leading training experiences.
Additional duties include:
* Supporting the training manager in meeting UKCAA and NLD-MAA requirements for maintaining C-130 Type Approvals.
* Ensuring all personnel are current and compliant with Part 145 Maintenance activities.
* Supervising students to ensure tasks are performed safely and correctly.
* Performing additional duties as directed by the Technical Training Manager or Head of Operations - Integrated Support MROSS.
About the person
Essential
* Experience in both Line and Base maintenance environments.
* Previous approval on commercial or military aircraft.
* Full UK Driving License.
Desirable
* Experience working with C-130 aircraft.
* Qualifications in Training Delivery.
* Knowledge of Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
* Experience in Instructional Design and Course Delivery.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
