Senior Democratic Services Officer needed in Salford This is a temporary contract initially paying £325.00 per day PAYE The reference number is: 000A E342 / 1 The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and supporting a wide range of formal and informal meetings, ensuring effective forward planning, agenda management and high‑quality governance processes. They will provide clear procedural and governance advice to senior leaders and elected members, contribute to ongoing improvements in corporate governance and democratic workflows, and support scrutiny activity through research, evidence gathering and report drafting. The role also involves producing accurate minutes and documentation, using ModGov to manage end‑to‑end processes, offering flexible support across committee and member services, and working collaboratively with colleagues to drive cultural and procedural enhancements.
