Clinical Nurse Specialist - Community Stroke Team
Band 6 Stroke Nurse—Community Stroke Team, shift pattern Mon‑Fri. This role is based within the Glasgow Community Stroke Team and will serve the Greater Glasgow catchment area.
About the role
We offer an autonomous practitioner position in a multi‑disciplinary team. You will manage a clinical caseload and deliver a comprehensive CNS service to clients across their stroke recovery pathway.
Key responsibilities
* Provide specialist stroke nursing care in acute, rehabilitation and community settings.
* Act as supervisor and educator for junior staff.
* Manage and audit clinical caseloads within agreed clinical standards.
* Collaborate with other health professionals to plan and deliver patient care.
Qualifications
* Registered Adult Nurse with valid NMC Registration and a live NMC UK pin.
* Experience of stroke care in acute, rehabilitation and community settings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Prior supervisor or educator experience preferable.
