Location: Fully Remote (UK)We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑focused Legal Secretary plaints & Resolution) to join a growing regulatory and professional standards environment. This role is central to ensuring thatplaints and disciplinary processes are handled with fairness, accuracy and professionalism.Working as part of a specialistplaints Team, you will support panels, legal assessors and managers throughout the full lifecycle of disciplinary cases. Key Responsibilities
1. Act as minute‑taker for panels and disciplinary hearings (virtual and occasional in‑person), producing accurate, clear and impartial records of proceedings.
2. Draft oue letters and decisions based on panel findings, ensuring legal and procedural accuracy.
3. Record case oues and decisions within internal systems, supporting reporting and publication requirements.
4. Assist in developing and improving procedural templates to support clarity and consistency.
5. Provide legal, procedural and administrative support to theplaints Team, including legal assessors, managers, presenting officers and panel members.
6. Coordinate paperwork, case files and documentation throughout theplaints process.
7. Apply professional standards, codes of conduct and disciplinary procedures consistently.
8. Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accessibility and fairness.
9. Protect the independence and integrity of theplaints and disciplinary function.
What We are Looking For
10. Extensive experience as a legal secretary or Legal training (LLB, GDL, LPC, SQE, CILEX)
11. Experience supporting regulatory, disciplinary, tribunal or court processes
12. Experience working with professional regulators or accredited registers
13. Experience in psychotherapy, counselling or mental health settings
14. Strong minute‑taking skills and the ability to produce accurate and reliable records.
15. Excellent writtenmunication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
16. High level of organisation and confidence in handling sensitive and confidential information.
17. Knowledge of human rights, equality law and safeguarding principles
