Job Role of the 360 Plant Operator
A great opportunity has arisen for a 360 Plant Operator to join a specialist UK manufacturing business producing high-quality animal bedding products. This is a hands-on role working within a busy production and warehouse environment where you will operate heavy plant equipment and support the smooth running of factory operations.
You will be responsible for safely operating 360-degree loading equipment, forklifts, and telescopic loaders, as well as supporting production through the operation of bagging and drying machinery. This is a key role in ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Main Responsibilities
* Safely operate 360-degree loading equipment, forklifts, and telescopic loaders
* Operate bagging and drying machinery within the production facility
* Carry out basic fault finding and troubleshooting to support continuous production
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety
* Ensure all products meet required quality standards
* Support preventative maintenance tasks on factory equipment
* Follow all company health & safety procedures and compliance requirements
Non-Negotiable Requirements
* Valid forklift licence
* Previous experience operating plant machinery or working in a similar production environment
* Own transport due to site location
Desirable Experience
* Experience operating 360 plant equipment or telescopic loaders
* Background in agricultural, industrial, or FMCG environments
* Basic maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting skills
