Position Overview: - Management Accountant, London (6 month FTC)

We are looking for an in-house Management Accountant to play a key role within our Finance Team. This position is responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and business partnering with the wider business. If you are a highly motivated, detail-oriented, curious and adaptable individual who thrives from working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the right opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts
2. Compliance with statutory requirements, adhering to deadlines as appropriate
3. Managing and training the wider business through strong business partnering
4. Monitoring financial performance against agreed budgets and forecasts
5. Regularly informing the Head of Finance of business-critical issues and opportunities; Proposing solutions to problems
Qualifications / Experience:
* Qualified or part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
* 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (preferably wholesale/retail)
* Strong IT literacy – Advanced Excel, accounting software
* Motivated individual with good attention to detail
* Excellent written and communication skills
* Challenging and ‘can-do’ attitude
* Ability to perform under pressure
* Self-disciplined and proactive team player
