What You'll Need to Apply
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Current knowledge of the National Curriculum for Science.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).

* Exceptional subject knowledge in biology, chemistry, and/or physics.

Your Main Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable).
* Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and homework assignments.
* Grade and assess student work according to departmental and national standards.
* Tailor teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
* Cultivate a safe and positive learning atmosphere.
* Work collaboratively with the science department and other school staff.
* Promote scientific literacy and a sense of curiosity.
* Ensure all practical activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
* Stay current with scientific advancements and incorporate them into your teaching.
* Collaborate with technicians to ensure resources are used effectively.
