~ As the Sous Chef in this busy Chester St David's hotel, you will support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and manage day-to-day operations in their absence. This is a role within a busy, high-volume, fast-paced hotel.
Experience in high-volume restaurant/conference and events
Proven track record as a Sous Chef with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a kitchen team
Successful experience in kitchen management, including overseeing operations, staff management, and achieving culinary excellence
High attention to detail, especially in maintaining food quality, presentation, and consistency
Manage kitchen operations to ensure a professional, safe, and cost-effective environment
Maintain clear communication between the kitchen and Front of House staff
Ensure food is prepared and served according to company standards, working with branded menus to enhance guest satisfaction
Adhere strictly to food hygiene and Health & Safety regulations as per HACCP and EHO directives
