Stock Controller Assistant Main Duties The assistant will be supporting the Stock Controller with general administration duties within the office, with sometime in the warehouse required. Key Skills Checking in of inbound deliveries, checking of delivery notes against purchase orders and accuracy of deliveries being booked onto the system. Raising queries with suppliers in a timely manner. Responsible for accurately matching delivery notes against invoices and querying any discrepancies. To manage the physical locations of all SKUs. To ensure weekly stock takes are carried out in line with policy. Investigate and report on discrepancies, losses and damages. Responsible for controlling best before dates of all stock and minimising write offs. Delivery ticket confirmations and credits where required, plus any ad-hoc cashier duties. Manage and clear all outstanding stock issues. Order taking for telesales and assisting in answering telephones. Knowledge and Experience: Experience in the drinks industry desirable but not essential. Use of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and records. Stock control experience desirable. Knowledge of Trinity systems. Accuracy when checking data and keeping records. Good teamwork skills, with office staff as well as drivers and warehousing staff.
