Overview
South Ayrshire Council provides early years education and care across Ayr, Girvan, Maybole, Prestwick and Troon. We seek a dedicated Early Years Educator to support our vibrant communities.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and delivery of learning experiences that support child development.
* Apply and adhere to council policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
* Monitor and evaluate practice to ensure quality service provision and service improvement.
* Contribute to service improvement to ensure a best value, customer‑focused approach to service delivery.
* Communicate information and advice clearly, concisely and accurately through written and verbal communication.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Relevant early years qualification or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of early years best practice and curriculum.
* Strong communication skills.
* Commitment to child protection and safeguarding.
* Regulated Work candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme or undergo an update if already a member prior to formal offer.

* Monday - 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
* Tuesday - 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
* Wednesday - 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
* Thursday - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
