We are recruiting a Research Outsourcing Specialist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area on a hybrid basis. As the Research Outsourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the research outsourcing lifecycle and ensuring compliance with various policies.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Research Outsourcing Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Research Outsourcing Specialist, you will Manage the research outsourcing lifecycle with both commercial and academic partners, including service provider assessment, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, contract amendments, budget monitoring, and study closeout.
2. As the Research Outsourcing Specialist, you will Support the management of outsourced activities and collaborations within the preclinical research departments, including interactions and negotiations with external partners such as Contract Research Organisations, consultants, and non-commercial partners.
3. As the Research Outsourcing Specialist, you will Implement high-quality contracts ensuring compliance with Legal, Intellectual Property, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Ethics and Business Integrity policies, using approved templates.
4. As the Research Outsourcing Specialist, you will Track outsourced activities in the C&OM repository, ensuring key terms are monitored and any required amendments are implemented in a timely manner.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Research Outsourcing Specialist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Sciences strongly preferred.
2. Proven experience in contract interpretation and negotiation.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with managing outsourced activities and collaborations within preclinical research departments.
