Training Delivery Instructor - Electrical
Full‑time role, 37.5 hours per week on a term‑time basis at HMS Sultan, Portsmouth.
Responsibilities
* Deliver training modules across Electrical Marine Engineering to the Royal Navy.
* Conduct both theory and practical training in Electrical Engineering.
* Maintain outstanding relationships with the customer and within the Marine Engineering Electrical training area.
* Assume duty of care and progress students during delivery phase.
* Assist in maintaining and updating training documentation and assess student coursework to provide feedback on performance.
* Utilise best practice to inform and direct quality and improvement activities across RN training.
Security Clearance
Candidate must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum Level3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
* Proven experience within Electrical/Engineering.
* Proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
* Competent electrical practical/hand skills.
Desirable Qualifications
* Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment.
* Level4 Teaching Qualification / DTC Defence Trainer Course or equivalent.
