Exciting Opportunity: Finance Business Partner £50,000 Permanent
Following a period of growth, our client, one of the largest and most respected housing providers in the South of England, is expanding their Finance team and looking to hire an experienced Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.
The role is available subject to notice, with a salary of £50,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA) with previous experience in a front-facing Business Partner role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Ensure the timely production and review of monthly management accounts and analysis reports with budget managers.
* Assist budget managers in understanding costs and delivering value for money.
* Provide monthly/quarterly forecast positions and assurance reports with supporting narratives.
* Develop strong Business Partner relationships with colleagues and teams.
* Build positive relationships with the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Service, and Team Managers.
* Support annual budget setting aligned with business objectives, providing financial assurance.
* Collaborate with the financial reporting team to ensure services are fit for purpose, customer-focused, and compliant with policies.
* Assist in risk management by providing expert advice and ensuring risks are escalated and resolved promptly.
* Promote continuous improvement to provide high-quality services.
* Support managers in financial monitoring for investments/projects, tracking savings versus targets.
* Support strategic planning with sophisticated modeling to understand financial scenarios.
* Work with HR and Organizational Development to enhance staffing reporting.
Experience required:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience as a business partner, preferably in housing.
* Experience providing timely financial information for key deliverables.
* Ability to analyze and challenge information constructively.
* Experience reviewing processes for improvement.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills for building partnerships across departments.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
