Part time Maintenance/Cleaner - 3 hours per day
Key Skills and Competencies
Safety & Security: Locking buildings, checking fences and gates etc, and responding to emergencies like power failures or broken windows.
Cleanliness: Regular cleaning of the school building and grounds to ensure a healthy environment for staff and pupils.
Repairs: Undertaking or arranging for repairs to various facilities, including plumbing (sinks, drains), electrical systems, and building structures like gutters and windows.
Groundskeeping: Managing the school grounds, which can include mowing, planting, tree management, and keeping water features like ponds clean and safe.
Compliance: Ensuring the school meets statutory obligations for safety and health, such as asbestos monitoring, electrical testing, and fire safety.
Equipment Maintenance: Servicing and maintaining practical lesson equipment, gardening tools, and mini-buses where applicable.
1. Job Title
School Maintenance Person and cleaner will work as part of a team to perform a variety of regular and one-off cleaning tasks and duties. They are expected to provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the School.

This person needs to be hardworking, flexible, looking to be a vital part of a friendly team. Post initially one year - 4pm - 7 pm during term time and some holiday work times can be adjusted.
