The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Research Assistant to support the Market Research Team in offshore wind intelligence. The successful candidate will play an active role in project‑level monitoring, quality control, and assisting with market research and data analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to enter offshore wind intelligence while supporting globally impactful datasets and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor offshore wind project progress and contract awards.
* Help maintain appropriate databases.
* Identify missing information and fill gaps.
* Cover gaps in project‑level monitoring when analysts are unavailable.
* Support analysts and consultants on bespoke projects and deep‑dive investigations.
* Participate in quality control.
* Engage with industry by developing a personal network of relationships across the supply chain, proactively using telephone and webinar engagement to pursue the latest information.
About You
* Experience of data entry and/or Excel analysis.
* Strong professional writing skills.
* Time management and organisational skills.
* Teamwork and communication.Interest in offshore wind components, infrastructure, and frameworks, and a willingness to learn.
* A degree is desirable but not essential.
This role is designed to support the Market Research Team and to develop industry‑specific knowledge and skills. With experience, the Research Assistant may take on more analytic or technical responsibilities over time, and progress within the business.
