What you’ll be doing:
* Manage and grow a strategic portfolio of sports accounts across Transient, Groups & Meetings, and Speciality Markets, focusing on long-term value.
* Develop account plans and negotiate commercial agreements to drive incremental revenue across all IHG brands.
* Identify new business opportunities aligned to market demand, using data and insights to make informed decisions.
* Work closely with hotel teams to match high-impact sports clients with the right properties, particularly in luxury and upscale segments.
* Represent IHG at key industry events, building visibility and strengthening relationships within the sports sector.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong commercial background in strategic sales, account management and/or business development, ideally with experience in the sports industry.
* Proven ability to grow accounts, lead negotiations, and build trusted partnerships that deliver results.
* Familiarity with Challenger Sales or similar consultative sales frameworks.
* Experience working across international markets and diverse cultures.
* Fluent in English, with additional languages seen as an advantage.
