You will be joining a team of 5 Orthoptists, 2 Orthoptic Assistants and 2 Admin Assistants to undertake general Orthoptic only and joint Consultant clinics. Newly qualified Orthoptists are welcome to apply. The Orthoptic department (based in Boston) has a varied workload including adult and paediatric patients in our general clinics, Shared care Glaucoma services, Visual Processing clinics, Adjustable squint surgery, Orthoptic direct referral patients as well as Additional needs and Paediatric Low vision clinics. We also provide a Community led Orthoptic stroke service. We actively participate in audit and teaching of undergraduate orthoptic and medical students.
