As part of a significant global rollout, they are launching a new cloud number offering across 80 countries and are now looking for a Buying Manager with deep expertise in wholesale voice to lead themercial engagement with operators.Your new role
This is a strategic,mercially focused position, not a procurement function. You will be responsible for managingplex B2Bmercial contracts with global tel operators, specifically focused on procuring voice interconnect services and number access. Your role will involve negotiating and securing interconnect agreements, shaping themercial terms for voice traffic and driving the buying and selling of minutes across international markets. You will work closely with Tier 1 carriers and wholesale voice providers to ensure the successful delivery of a globally scalable solution. Your influence will extend across pricing strategy, margin optimisation and volume forecasting, all while building strategic partnerships with key players such as BICS, Tatamunications, iBasis and others. This is a rare opportunity to lead from the front, shaping how businesses establish local presence and scalemunications worldwide.What you need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you must bring proven experience inmercial contract management within the wholesale voice industry. You will have a strong track record of working directly with tel operators, negotiating voice interconnect services and managing themercial dynamics of international carrier relationships. Your expertise should include the buying and selling of minutes,mercial strategy development, and a deep understanding of virtual numbers and global tel regulations. Candidates with hands-on experience working with Tier 1 carriers, such as BICS, Tata, iBasis, Orange or similar, will be prioritised. You must be a confidentmunicator, capable of influencing stakeholders and drivingplex initiatives across multiple regions. Strategic thinking and executional precision are both essential.
