We are excited to offer two HR industrial placements, starting in June 2026.


What will you be doing?

Only by recruiting and retaining the best talent will we achieve our business ambitions in the highly competitive and fast-moving UK automotive industry. You will support our colleagues to develop and grow to achieve their personal and professional ambitions.

We have two roles in this stream and you will be asked for your preference if invited to assessment centre:

* People Operations: Working as the first point of contact for the business, you will be responding to general HR queries and will be responsible for administering the employee lifecycle from starting to leaving.
* Talent, Development and Communications: In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for Talent, Development and Internal Communications queries, providing proactive administration and project support across the T&D and IC teams. You will be working across a range of systems to ensure training records and sessions are kept up to date, along with active promotion on our Communication channels.


What can we offer you?

As an undergraduate on one of our placements, you'll receive a £23,500 salary. You'll also receive 27 days' holiday – plus bank holidays –, access to our car schemes, pension scheme, employee well-being support, an on-site restaurant and shopping discounts.


What do you need?

* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise a varied workload.
* A passion for good customer service, being proactive, positive and delivery focused.
* Ability to communicate effectively within the People team and to business stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
* Open to university students eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2026, on a sandwich degree that offers a one-year industrial placement.
* Willing to be based within a reasonable distance from the Milton Keynes head office to support work/life balance.


What's the assessment process?

After applying, you will be asked to complete numerical assessment and situational judgement assessments. If you successfully complete these, you will be invited to an online video interview. The final step is a face-to-face assessment centre, where you will take part in activities based on real-life tasks, meet managers and the existing student placement cohort to learn more about the scheme. Successful candidates will be offered a place soon after the assessment centre.
