Band D Full Time Permanent 36 Working Hours – 39 Weeks per Year Required from 01 September 2025 Park Primary School Due to the forthcoming retirement of our valued and long standing Attendance Officer, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly and committed Administration and Finance Assistant to work in our busy school office from September. School office experience is desirable, however full training will be provided. Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills are essential. The successful candidate must have first-rate communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to deal with diverse tasks and changing priorities. Duties will include acting as one of the main points of contact for greeting visitors and dealing with queries, communicating with parents via our app, maintaining our school information management system, raising purchase orders and processing invoices, booking supply, school trips and transport. The successful candidate must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues, be highly organised, able to work to deadlines and use their initiative. The working hours are 8.15am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday, with a 35 (33) minute unpaid lunch break each day. The contracted weeks are 39, which is term time plus 5 inset days.
