Quality Engineer
Location: Bristol, United Kingdom
Omega has a fantastic role with a successful engineering client. The successful candidate will monitor, assess, and report on product and process quality, ensuring manufacturing processes are performed correctly and in line with required standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate 8D problem‑solving activities for supplier/internal complaints from initial containment through to fix verification.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement activities.
* Support supplier audits and conduct internal audits.
Required Profile
* Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
* Full knowledge of AS9100 rev D.
* 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
* Qualification in an engineering discipline to HNC level or equivalent.
* Experience working within manufacturing and a Quality Engineering function.
* Produced FAIRs to AS9102 rev C.
* Full knowledge of APQP, PPAP, statistical process control, metrology or inspection methods/equipment and the 8D problem‑solving methodology.
