About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is a hands‑on role involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of water treatment systems across a range of customer sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach, and excellent problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of water treatment equipment
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
* Conduct routine maintenance and system checks
* Provide technical support and advice to customers on‑site
* Complete service reports and documentation accurately
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience in a service engineering role (water treatment experience desirable but not essential)
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Full UK driving licence
* Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of water hygiene or treatment systems
* Relevant engineering qualifications
* Experience working in field‑based roles
