At Civica Medical Billing and Collection (MBC), we support private healthcare practitioners as the UK\'s largest specialist provider of billing and collection services. We help over 2,000 consultants, clinics, and hospitals transform their financial operations, ensuring accurate billing, maximising revenue, and improving the patient experience. This is a hybrid role, with after probation and training a schedule of 3 days per week in our Amersham office.
As an Account Manager, you\'ll be the trusted partner for our clients, managing the complete revenue cycle so they can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. You\'ll combine relationship management with commercial insight to deliver meaningful results, while working in a supportive team that values accuracy, collaboration, and long-term client success.
What you will do to be successful in this role
Key responsibilities
* Act as a dedicated partner to healthcare practitioners, managing the full revenue cycle on their behalf.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing advice and insights on billing and financial performance.
* Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce inefficiencies, supporting long-term client success.
* Guide clients through billing systems and processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver solutions that enhance the client and patient experience.
* Support business objectives through administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Requirements
* Experience in account management, billing, or client services, ideally in a target-driven or fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and influence effectively.
* High attention to detail with proven organisational skills and accuracy in data management.
* Resilient and adaptable, able to prioritise and problem-solve under pressure.
* Team-oriented with a proactive approach to achieving goals and supporting continuous improvement.
