Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting both experienced and non-experienced Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The role involves working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs, aiming to create an environment that supports their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional development.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. The role requires confidence, patience, and skills to positively influence their lives.
Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks like meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. Interaction with professionals such as Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers is also required, including environments like classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit's vehicle and transport young people to destinations such as family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete our induction program before placements are offered.

10. Attend work reliably and punctually, following a set shift pattern.
11. Keep up to date with procedures and policy changes.
12. Ensure health and safety for yourself and others.
13. Perform any additional relevant duties as required.
