Lead and develop a tiered MSK health approach supporting sustainable employee health outcomes.
Oversee the provision of a specialist MSK service integrated within the wider Occupational Health and Wellbeing team.
Review current MSK service delivery and design strategic plans to meet short, medium, and long‑term organisational needs.
Align MSK health initiatives with NICE guidance and best‑practice standards to improve staff wellbeing.
Drive the growth and piloting of targeted interventions to facilitate stay at or return to work success.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of successfully leading and managing a team
* Experience of working in a multidisciplinary/multi‑agency team environment
* Experience of providing clinical supervision and mentorship
* Substantial post‑registration experience, including knowledge of relevant current NHS legislation and policies
* Evidence of having led a major service improvement
* Experience of managing budgets
Qualifications
* HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
* BSc/MSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy
* Specialist training to Masters level or equivalent experience with a supporting professional portfolio
* Up to date appraisal including evidence of CPD
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
* Experience of teaching others
* Management leadership training e.g. Leading an Empowered Organisation (LEO) course

Knowledge and Awareness
* Evidence of a sensitivity to the needs and expectations of patients accessing physiotherapy services

* Demonstrable experience in implementing successful change and innovation in clinical practice
* Be able to demonstrate advanced communication and negotiation skills
* Able to manage and prioritise a highly complex and broad ranged clinical and managerial caseload, meeting demanding deadlines
* Able to practice at an advanced level and be able to demonstrate a high degree of professional autonomy
* Ability to manage conflict within teams
* Able to plan, deliver and evaluate presentations/training given to groups of patients and professionals alike
