Overview

Ready for a challenge? Then Just Eat might be the place for you. We\'re the UK\'s leading rapid delivery platform, connecting millions of customers with thousands of restaurant, grocery, and retail partners. We empower everyday convenience across occasions from Friday night feasts to post-gym meals and grocery runs.

About the Role: No two days are the same in Corporate Affairs, and we are looking for an energetic, organised and curious Corporate Affairs Executive to join our fast-paced, high-performing team. The UK Corporate Affairs function brings together Public Affairs, Responsible Business, and Corporate Communications, working at the intersection of policy, media, business and reputation. In partnership with external advisors, we promote and protect Just Eat\'s corporate brands, support commercial growth, uphold values and integrity, and manage our external environment. This is a unique opportunity to help a high-impact function operate at its best, keeping things organised, coordinated and moving at pace.

What You\'ll Do (Responsibilities)

* Team Operations & Planning: Manage meetings, team logistics and planning rhythms; maintain and update core assets (Stakeholder Database, Media Coverage Tracker, Team Activity Tracker); manage the Calendar tracking key moments, milestones and campaigns; support budget management; provide general admin support to keep the function running smoothly.
* Reputation Support: Triage and manage incoming contacts via the media enquiries inbox; log and coordinate responses to journalists, MPs, industry bodies and government departments via the Contact Tracker; monitor and evaluate media coverage (sentiment, message pull-through, key reputation themes); support Quarterly Reputation Reporting with insights and data analysis; manage and update the Position and Policy Statements Hub to ensure content is current, consistent and accessible.
* Cross-Functional & Leadership Coordination: Support and coordinate Steering Groups of senior leaders on high-profile reputation and regulatory issues; liaise with colleagues across Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Legal, Delivery Operations, Human Resources, and Customer Care, along with global colleagues, to support integrated workstreams; help prepare inputs for cross-functional projects, content, and campaigns.
* Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to use AI tools and automations to enhance the team\'s effectiveness from planning to media analysis; support the evolution of ways of working, bringing ideas for visibility, collaboration and efficiency; contribute to a high-performing, solutions-focused culture that embraces change and learns fast.

What We\'re Looking For

* Around one to three years of experience in a PR, communications or public affairs agency or in-house role
* Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
* Strong interest in current affairs, politics, media and the business environment
* Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail
* Confident juggling multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* A tenacious and motivated self-starter who thrives on responsibility and takes pride in getting things done
* Forward-thinking – always anticipating what\'s coming next and staying one step ahead
* Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners
* A collaborative team player who brings energy, curiosity, and positivity to work

What You\'ll Gain

* This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of one of the UK\'s most dynamic sectors, helping to promote and protect Just Eat\'s reputation, build trust and visibility, and support commercial growth.
* Gain hands-on experience in issues management, stakeholder engagement and media coordination; build practical skills across comms, public affairs and responsible business.
* Learn how a high-performing Corporate Affairs team operates in real time — from strategic to operational.

At Just Eat Takeaway.com

* Opportunity to work for a high-profile consumer brand — the UK\'s leading on-demand delivery platform
* Be part of a passionate, collaborative, and high-performing team
* Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
* Flexible working arrangements with a hybrid work model
* Professional growth opportunities and continuous learning and development support
* A fun and inclusive work environment that values innovation and creativity
