At Heatherwood Court, we provide high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with complex mental health needs – and we’re looking for nurses who are ready to make a genuine impact. Whether you’re newly qualified or bringing years of experience, we offer the structure, training, and opportunities to help you thrive.
Heatherwood Court is a low secure hospital based in Pontypridd, providing specialist mental health services for men and women with complex and enduring mental health conditions. Our multidisciplinary team delivers personalised, recovery-focused care in a safe and therapeutic environment. With a focus on rehabilitation, risk reduction, and positive outcomes, we support individuals to move forward in their recovery journey and reintegrate into the community where possible.
We offer a competitive salary based on your experience, skills, and qualifications. You’ll receive a generous holiday allowance of 33 days per annum (inclusive of bank holidays), with additional days awarded for long service.
You’ll receive full training aligned with the All Wales Induction Framework, and newly qualified nurses will benefit from a structured preceptorship programme. We’ll also provide you with a free uniform. Career development is a key part of our culture—over 50% of our staff are currently enrolled on professional or management training courses. You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative team environment that values your growth and contribution. As an added bonus, we offer a £1,000 recommend-a-friend incentive.
