Overview
Band 3 PTL Breast Screening Coordinator role at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, Edgware Community Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and track patients on suspected cancer pathways using the Somerset and NBSS systems; ensure the actions are pursued, evaluated, and ready for discussion during the weekly cancer PTL meetings.
* Work with the management team to resolve pathway barriers and escalate challenges promptly where required.
* Develop an understanding of the 62-day national cancer waiting time targets, the 28-day expedited diagnostic standard, and the NHS Breast Screening Programme guidelines for PTL pathways.
* Facilitate the Effective Tracking of Patient Tracker Lists, meet data submission deadlines, and actively participate in PTL review meetings to provide insights and present findings.
* Perform administrative functions for the North London Breast Screening Service in line with Trust and NHS Breast Screening Programme guidelines and targets.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Band 3 level experience or equivalent
* Experience with cancer pathways, PTL processes or health screening services preferred
* Strong data handling and administrative skills; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
