Within the group, we are over 9000 employees located across the world whose core business is to provide engineering solutions to major automotive companies and their suppliers. We are looking for a Professional Hardware Engineer – Interior (Self-Employed Contractor) to join the team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our continuing expansion. Responsibilities include: Coordination and technical support (HW integration & component owners) Leading high-priority tasks: identifying critical topics, gathering relevant technical information, and ensuring timely resolution Representation of interior systems in cross-functional HW integration meetings Preparation and alignment of the LIN signal set Review and update of the Design Verification Plan (DVP), including system-level FMEA support Coordination of user experience (UX) related topics with relevant stakeholders Management of EMC test preparation activities Ownership of BUS communication alignment due to differing panoramic blind configurations Alignment of motor direction and functional logic Coordination of system integration activities with the DCM supplier (Marelli) Concept alignment with all relevant stakeholders (including design, EE, and supplier teams) Evaluation of LIN-based actuator solutions Analysis of different motor variants based on specific requirements Preparation of Design Approval (DA) documentation Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in system integration and cross-domain coordination in automotive projects Strong knowledge of LIN/BUS communication protocols and EE system architecture Familiarity with DVP, FMEA, and EMC testing processes Hands-on experience working with interior components and cross-functional development teams Excellent organizational and communication skills
