Overview
SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Class Teacher (6.5 hours per week – Monday). Temporary part-time Year 5/6 mixed class teacher to cover maternity leave (one day per week, 0.2 – Monday), from 25 November to 26 July. Main scale pay range M1 £32,916 – £45,352.
The Governors of our happy and successful school are seeking to employ a teacher who will uphold the Catholic ethos of our small, dedicated and happy team.
This post is NOT suitable for an ECT.
Responsibilities
* Be a committed practising Catholic or who is willing to be supportive of our Catholic ethos and practices.
* Have the highest expectations for all children, with a proven record of ensuring outstanding progress.
* Work with the support of the senior leadership team in developing and leading a foundation subject across the school, in all key stages.
* Inspire and engage all children creatively in the learning process.
* Be committed to developing our team and maintaining effective relationships within the parish and wider school community.
* Participate fully in the curricular and extra-curricular life of our school.
* Aspire to excel professionally.
* Be able to lead a foundation subject.
Qualifications and requirements
* Must be suitable to teach in a Catholic primary school.
* Experience and/or willingness to contribute to the school’s Catholic ethos and practices.
