Location: Banbury (Hybrid - 1-2 Days On-site per Week)
Salary: Around £60,000

Travel: Occasional international travel (UK & Europe)
A global manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Polish speaking Financial Accountant to join its UK finance team. This is a key role within a long‑established international group, offering exposure to cross‑border operations, modern systems and a collaborative, people‑focused culture.
The position is based in Banbury, with 1-2 days per week on-site once settled, and includes occasional international travel to European sites.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow
Manage the general ledger and record daily financial transactions
Perform reconciliations and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
Act as the main contact for internal and external audits
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring
Analyse financial data to identify improvements and cost‑saving opportunities
Provide reporting and insight to support management decision‑makingAbout You
Degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role (manufacturing experience beneficial)
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations and month‑end processes
Confident in using accounting systems (SAP Business One experience is an advantage)
Excellent Excel and data‑analysis skills
High attention to detail with a structured, accurate approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
Proactive problem‑solver who can manage deadlines and work independently
Comfortable working in an international environment with occasional travel
Fluent Polish speaker, with a good level of English (written and spoken)What's on Offer
