We have an exciting opportunity for anElectronic Bench Engineer - Componentsbased inNorthampton to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.Summary of the Electronic Bench Engineer - Components
Salary: Up to £40,000Location: NorthamptonType of Contract:permanentHours: 37.5 hour working weekResponsibilities of the Electronic Bench Engineer - Components
* Quickly fix defects and malfunctions.
* Fault finding issues with electronic equipment
* Anyalyse, measure, repair and test industrial electronics
* Diagnose and repair electronic equipment at the component level (ideally resistors - diodes on PCB boards) as well as motors and servos
* Testing and optimising repaired equipment.
* Soldering.
* Create and maintain technical documentation of work.
Requirements for a successful Electronic Bench Engineer - Components
* Previous Electronic Repair experience at the component level.
* Strong working knowledge of electronic components and drives/motors.
* Able to recognise malfunctions and errors in measuring and testing equipment.
* Driving licence required.
* Lift experience would be beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills with experience creating technical documentation.
